The Supari nut plant, also known as the Areca palm (Areca catechu), is a tropical tree widely cultivated for its seeds, known as betel nuts. Native to South and Southeast Asia, it can reach heights of up to 20 meters. The slender, smooth trunk is topped with a crown of feathery, arching fronds. Betel nuts, harvested from the tree's orange-yellow fruit, are commonly chewed for their stimulating properties. The Areca palm thrives in well-drained soils and humid conditions, requiring regular watering and partial to full sunlight. Besides its economic importance, it also adds an elegant, tropical touch to landscapes
